Job Summary

The mission for this role is to strengthen the current team (all levels of the organization) and create a structured platform for the evaluation and implementation of ideas across each of the departments within NewCompliance while being a “father figure” to the leadership team and a constructive sparring partner for the CEO. The mission is also to support the establishment of a culture of effective communication and appreciation across the organization and in the long term, guide the company through its transition from a medical software start-up to a data company scale-up.

This role, along with the CEO, can form the future Managing Board of a professionalized NewCompliance built around the right people and processes that drives value in healthcare across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

General management

  • Co-manages the executive and leadership teams in NL and US and directs the product, HR and operations departments including the relevant business processes and implements the necessary improvements in this regard, annual planning and interim reviews;
  • Puts people at the center of the organization to build an engaged company of A-players that resonate to the vision and culture. Is the ambassador of culture that breaks down silos between departments and teams;
  • Searches and makes own networks available for the purpose of finding new A-players for all departments and teams.

Strategy

  • Together with the CEO, leads the transition of NC from a dashboard-centric software/ solutions company to a data-centric software and services company (including compliance and other unknown factors) for 2022 and beyond. In 2021, sets up systems and processes to facilitate this transition;
  • Jointly with the CEO, determines, team, the strategy of the company for the next 3 to 5 years from 2022 onwards. Uses input from and ensures support within his / her MT;
  • Subsequently translates the established strategy into a step-by-step plan to be implemented in the relevant organizational departments reporting to the general manager;
  • Ensures a timely and as complete as possible execution of the 2021 strategy, adjusts and encourages where necessary – this according to the principle “leading by example”.

Operations

  • Creates and implements structure to facilitate achievable aligned goals linking commercial, operational and development activities for NL, US & new markets in 2021. Creates active link and feedback mechanism. Drives “Live the Structure”;
  • Scales the organization to deliver substantial higher revenues in 2021 (based on 2020 baseline) per the commercial plans set in motion by the founder and the management team;
  • Strengthens the value proposition and product-market fit roadmap to improve adoption & commercial success, create long-term value for 2022 and beyond and thus improve the valuation of NewCompliance.

Customer & Market

  • Works alongside the CEO to strengthen and deliver the commercial goals of the organization while understanding the unique challenges of the target market;
  • Creates and communicates a consistent identity (including branding) of NewCompliance for all stakeholders including employees, customers and commercial partners;
  • Jointly with the CEO builds a world-class commercial organization to deliver success across business models and geographies.

Fundraising

  • Supports the CEO in his endeavors to fuel the growth potential of the company.

The role is responsible for generating, driving and closing direct sales opportunities in a significant Territory of multiple states, TBD based on your network, as well as respond to leads generated in that Territory via our national sales partner (distributor). You will navigate our clients’ decision-making process, providing solution demos, presenting business cases, and networking with clients from clinical teams up to hospitals’ C-suites.

In addition, we will love to receive your constructive feedback on our products and supportive national marketing efforts. To achieve your targets, you will work closely with our US Product, Sales and Marketing leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting regional US Sales targets on volume/revenue, and non-revenue technology pilots (Beta sites) in your Territory;
  • Engage with our national sales leaders to develop suitable solutions and close on the customers’ decision-making process, including leads coming in from our B2B partnerships;
  • Lead our regional US sales and marketing functions. Support us in meeting our ambitious growth targets;
  • Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas;
  • Consult with business analysts, subject matter experts and other team members to determine solution requirements and communicate them regionally and nationally (at events and through direct partnerships);

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Clinical/ Medical, Business Administration (or related field);
  • 5 – 10 years successful software sales experience (Solution Selling) in the hospital/healthcare industry required;
  • Proven experience in delivering sales plans, navigating hospital Decision Making Units (DMU) and achieving ambitious revenues growth targets;
  • Positive attitude and team player mindset;
  • Inspire customers and colleagues alike, and optimize conversion through channels and direct sales opportunities;
  • Go-getter, solution-focused personality with a growth mindset and knack for digital solutions;
  • Basic understanding of digital healthcare issues and developments: knowledge of major EHR vendors, Interoperability (HL7, FHIR) and Reimbursement system/ hospital budgeting cycles;

We are looking for a driven, proactive (Senior) Project Manager, someone who works well in a Start-up/ Scale-up environment as an individual contributor. In this position, you will lead and be responsible for projects, follow-up on tasks/subtasks, follow-up with customers and manage the scope and budget.

The successful candidate will prepare the planning, create documentation, outline how the software is rolled out, identify, and bring the stakeholders together. You communicate and act adequately in case of any deviations from the plan.

As a (Senior) Project Manager, you are responsible for the management of projects on Project Management software and continuously improve the Project Management process. To achieve these objectives, you will work closely with our US Team leaders. We are seeing a candidate who is excited to work as a member of a small US Operations Team with strong support from our oversees teammates. Strong desire to be part of a growing team and long-term interest in building and leading the Project Management Team.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and constantly improve the Project Management process. Define and manage projects;
  • Prepare, manage and adjust schedules as needed. Involve various stakeholders;
  • Preparation of project documentation and timely project reporting. Setting up software within hospitals and monitoring any hardware delivery;
  • Manage day-to-day aspects of projects on Project Management software: tasks, subtasks, dependencies and keeping project within scope and budget;
  • Make a clear translation of customer wishes from functional designs to successful delivery of the solution. Central position in cooperation between development, commerce, and customer;
  • Work with Customer Success & Clinical experts to understand clinical workflow and limitations of the solution to assure smooth delivery of the final product;
  • Assure the quality of the project and delivered solutions in accordance with user requirements, budgets, planning and quality standards; Oversite of ticket management and date integrity until customer signs off on project.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Information Systems or Computer Science (or related field);
  • Minimum of 5 – 10 years working experience in Project Management and IT integrations;
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with EMRs, EHRs and healthcare software tools like Epic, MicroMD, Cerner, McKesson, GE Healthcare, Meditech or AllScripts;
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving aptitude. Proven self-motivator;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification – Strong advantage;
  • Strong customer service and people skills;
  • Start-up/ scale-up experience preferred. Entrepreneurial and hands-on attitude;

The role is responsible for generating, driving, and closing direct sales opportunities as well as leads generated via our marketing team and international B2B partner teams. You will lead the commercial process in the navigation of our clients’ decision-making process, providing solution demo’s, presenting business cases, and influencing clients from clinical teams up to hospitals’ C-suites.

In addition, you will inspire colleagues and work with the internal teams to share competitive intelligence, provide constructive feedback on our product portfolio and marketing efforts and identify opportunities to solve challenges for our customers that are strategically and/or commercially attractive to the company (product innovation). You will also collaborate with strategic partners. To achieve targets, you will work closely with our global Product, Customer Success and Marketing Teams.

 

Responsibilities

  • Increase overall revenues, close new customer contracts and improve customer value, possibly increasing footprint with named accounts (increase the number of products within existing customers);

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Medical (or related field);
  • Minimum of 5 years’ working experience after graduation;
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Healthcare Sales and/or Business Development in Healthcare IT;
  • Basic understanding of Hospital IT and digital OR and Healthcare IT & software developments: major EMR vendors, Interoperability (HL7, FHIR);
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written in both English and Dutch); ability to document and explain solution elements, to both management and clinical & OR staff;
  • Eye for detail and result-oriented;
  • Strong customer focus/ service and people skills;
