ACTIQ Elements
The ACTIQ platform integrates and draws data from your EMR, your building system, and other OR equipment. It tracks, validates, and smartly interprets this data and displays essential information as required by clinical staff during surgical procedures.
By integrating all safety protocols and checklists in one location, the risk of errors, delays, and surgical site infections (SSI’s) is minimized. This results in significant cost savings for your hospital. Workflow dashboards lessen the burden on your caregivers.
Inside and outside the OR, or in the prep room, our Workflow Dashboards meet the demands of every situation.

Lower the workload of your surgeons or simplify the complexity of scheduling with our real-time Overview Dashboard. The Overview Dashboard provides oversight of essential information that will improve communication between teams, departments, or specialists. Obtain oversight of essential information and simplify planning for the entire team.
Managers, day coordinators, and planners often work with these dashboards. Mostly in combination with our overview- and coffee room dashboards.

Our Analytics & Reports allow you to explore and organize performance data per specialty, operating room, week/day/month, individual cases, etc. Clear analytics will reveal opportunities for performance and safety improvements and will deliver more predictable OR outcomes. Mapping out opportunities for Continuous Improvement and measuring the impact of Quality Initiatives has never been this easy. Intelligent reports are automatically shared with the appropriate people to create awareness throughout the entire surgical department.

Our Dynamic Checklists prevent you from missing crucial information that is essential for any surgery. Many things can go wrong before, during, and after an operation. Therefore, it is of great importance to perform routine checks during specific phases and transfer moments throughout the surgical process in a structured manner. From admission to discharge – it is essential for nursing staff, OR teams, surgeons, and anesthesiologists to be aware of the current status and their responsibilities within the workflow. Following WHO and other guidelines, many hospitals already require checks at various steps in the surgical process, as summarized in the “surgical safety checklist”. This process, however, usually occurs outside of the EMR on paper or on a whiteboard, limiting its usability for quality improvement initiatives.

Smart Messaging provides real-time notifications about the status of a patient, scheduling changes, charting errors, or any other information that requires an immediate response. Automated messages save time, minimize the loss of information, and put an end to outdated communication. Smart Messaging allows you to send automated emails with generated reports when certain data requires immediate communication. Do you want to be notified when a certain timestamp is created? You are no longer required to monitor when a patient arrives, you will simply receive a text when the patient enters the holding area or the OR and you will be notified about when your presence is required.

Fragmented data and an overload of data originating from different systems may contribute to miscommunication and the loss of valuable information throughout the surgical process. Improve patient outcomes by generating data from a large variety of systems (EMR, BMS, PDMS etc.). By improving the way different source systems connect and communicate data, healthcare teams can increase awareness regarding the quality of care, patient outcomes, and costs of a department.
Workflow Dashboards
The Workflow Dashboard provides clinical and operational data exactly when and where this is needed. Relevant data is visualized in real-time and reflects actionable information in one clear dashboard. It integrates alerts, essential protocols, and other systems in the OR (BMS/ IoT/ /Video routing/protocol systems) into one central overview. It empowers critical care teams to increase efficiency, improve patient safety, and optimize workflow and workplace synergy.
Overview Dashboards
The Overview Dashboard provides real-time oversight of essential information to improve communication between teams, departments, and various specialists. Receive updated information on the progress of a patient, any ongoing surgical procedure, availability of beds, operating rooms, or surgical teams. Overview and specifics around nurse availability and relief can also be viewed, in for example a coffee room or lounge.
Analytics & Reports
Obtain detailed insight into all performance metrics via easy-to-use, real-time big data analysis and individualized reports. Clinicians and administrators can now identify and effectively target suitable opportunities for performance and safety improvements – and deliver more predictable outcomes.
Dynamic Checklists
Our Dynamic Checklists prevent you from missing crucial information that is essential for any surgery. Many things can go wrong before, during, and after surgical procedures. Therefore, it is of great importance to perform routine checks throughout the surgical process in a structured manner. From admission to discharge – it is essential to be aware of the status and their responsibilities within the workflow.
Messaging Tools
Smart Messaging provides real-time notifications about the status of a patient, scheduling changes, charting errors, or any other information that requires an immediate response. Automated messages to be received via the healthcare worker’s preferred platform (ie. Text message, email, pager) save time, minimize the loss of information, and put an end to outdated communication methods such as phone calls and notice boards.
Full Interoperability
It can be challenging to merge, synchronize, and aggregate datasets from different source systems, mainly because of the use of different definitions and formats within the data. This may contribute to miscommunication and the loss of valuable information. Improve patient outcomes, optimize efficiency, and save costs by combining data from a large variety of systems (EMR, BMS, PDMS, etc.) into one clear overview.
